The City of Everett Parks Department has very strict rules about the Phil Johnson Ball fields. There are no sunflower seeds, peanuts with shells or gum in the dugouts or the spectator stands. This rule is due to the type of fields they have and the difficulty getting those objects out of the field without damaging the rubber should the wind blow it that direction. They also do not like anything but water being consumed by the players while in the dugout.
Managers have these rules in their binders and we need to reinforce these rules to allow us to continue to use their parks. Managers need to make sure the visiting teams are also following these rule and enforce them when necessary.
We need to protect ourselves from false claims this is happening and report to Bob anything that looks out of the normal. Reports are being made to the city and we need to assure it is not us causing the issue.
Games are now going on and you must have and be wearing your ID Badge to be on the field or working with the players. If you are not in posession of your badge you will be removed from the field. Putting the safety of our players first is a priority.
If you still need to get your ID Badge, complete the Volunteer form and send a current head shot to the address below. They would like your photo to be in jpg format and they will need your phone number so they can contact you if there is a problem with your photo. Please also add the additional information so they can make your badge.
Name, Team and your Volunteer Position.
Badges will be released when they are finished and approved by our Safety Officer. Managers will be notified when they can come pick these up at the Clubhouse once they are completed.
We have the game schedules and now know what days we need to get covered in the Concession Stand. Please get in touch with Monique and let her know you are an approved volunteer and have her schedule you in a time slot.
You can reach Monique at 425-350-1989 or email@example.com. Thanks for helping.
